$5,000 Kayak High School Photo Scholarship Contest!

Have you considered attending a high school for kayakers? Are you a teen kayak student excited to earn high school credit in China, New Zealand, Costa Rica, or Chile and paddle amazing rivers after school? Are you excited to learn more about photography and are a talented photographer?  If so, here’s an opportunity to receive a $5,000 academic scholarship for the 2008 academic year and find yourself studying on the banks of, and then paddling rivers such as the Ottawa, New River Dries, Seven Teacups, Palguin and more…

THE RULES

1. Applicant must be twelve to eighteen years of age.
2. All entries must be a minimum of 9.05 x 11.69 at 300 dpi.  Surf to  HYPERLINK "http://www.kayaksession.com" www.kayaksession.com or  HYPERLINK "http://www.huge-experiences.com" www.huge-experiences.com for submission directions.
3. All entries must include a cover letter that lists: your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, current grade level, and your high school name and address.
4. Entries should relate to river experiences illustrating, “Kayak Culture.”
5. Only one composition per applicant will be accepted.
6. Entries must be solely the work of the applicant.
7. All entries become unlimited right of use of Kayak Session and Huge Experiences.
8. All entries must be received by March 12, 2008.  

AWARD
$5,000 Academic Scholarship to the photographer of the best original composition to be applied to two semesters or rated for shorter programs.  
The Winner will be published by Kayak Session and www.huge-experiences.com.
